Decent goal-scorer
The 26-year-old scored 10 goals in the Premier League 2022-23. Of these 10 goals, seven were scored from inside the opposition penalty box. Maddison has the skill and his shooting ability has been impressive. He attempted 2.8 shots per 90 minutes and had a 35% accuracy rate.
This season, the player has attempted eight shots and has a 37.5% accuracy rate. Maddison scored the first goal in Spurs’ 2-0 win over Bournemouth in the league. He has attempted more shots from inside the opposition penalty box.
Harry Kane scored 30 goals in the 2022-23 campaign and that will be a difficult stat to match for Maddison. However, his creative side can allow his other teammates to get on the score sheet. The 26-year-old will hope that Richarlison and Son finish these chances.
